Darga River Bridge

Darga River Bridge, situated on the eastern outskirts of Jerusalem, spans the Darga River at height of 35.0 meters.

To mitigate construction impacts on the surrounding environment, the utilization of cast-in-situ construction method with a balanced cantilever from travelers was adupeted.

The main span, extending to 96.0 meters, showcases a sophisticated design featuring a variable-height box cross-section with tiled webs.

The connection between the piers and the superstructure is done with a sleek twin-column formation. This choice not only provided structural stability during constriction but also allowed for the necessary flexibility in the longitudinal direction of the sub-structure.
